These nice soft compression socks are easier to put in than his other, more expensive ones. But they still have good compression to keep down his swelling.

As with diabetic hiking socks, the sizing is off. These are for tall people, or at least people long from ankle to knee. With compression socks, it won't do to roll down the top -- that cuts off the blood supply behind the knee. Measurements should be offered in the sizing so one would not have to pay to return the product.

My first impression was that these OTC Compression socks in Medium size were a bit tight for me. But after wearing these socks for a while I found that the fit became more a bit looser and more comfortable. And now I really like them a lot! True, the height is somewhere between a crew and high OTC length, but that is a plus for me - much easier to get off, while still providing plenty of cover. I like these socks a lot and will buy more.
